BREAKING GROUND ALL OVER HOUSTON

Horizon was awarded the new construction of a  1-story municipal court building that will serve the City of Pasadena, TX. The building will house two courtrooms along with all the judges' chambers, prosecution offices, mediation rooms, jury areas, and all the county clerk stations. The architecture is classical and features a decorative cupola.

CITY OF PASADENA

MUNICIPAL COURT BUILDING

Horizon was awarded the new construction of a 3-story administration building and a 2-story maintenance building at the Northeast Water Purification Plant. The two buildings are connected by a breezeway and will serve the $1.9 billion plant expansion. Inside the 44,000 square feet is the control center for operation of the plant. The SCADA room is high security and climate controlled to ensure that Houston is never without water. 

ADMINISTRATION AND MAINTENANCE BUILDING

This facility is 9,000 SF building that features an education area and office spaces, along with separate housing for felines and canines. Bayou Animal Services provides shelter services for the cities of Clear Lake Shore, Dickinson and Santa Fe. 

CITY OF DICKINSON ANIMAL SHELTER

Houston Community College Culinary Arts Center is ground up construction of a new 32,000 sf., $11M, LEED Certified, two-story, state-of-the-art culinary teaching facility. It includes baking/cooking labs, classrooms, student lounge areas, conference rooms, reception areas, dining room/bar, dish room and storage receiving. 
 

HCC CULINARY ARTS CENTER

Hyatt Place is a historical conversion of the AT&T building in to a Hyatt Place Hotel in Downtown Houston. All sixteen floors were demoed while the exterior of the building has to remain the same. The interior features a hotel room build out with a lobby, meeting space, full kitchen and dining areas. The exterior will be returned to its former glory with a historically correct facelift. 

HYATT PLACE

Horizon is Owner’s Rep overseeing this $26M project which includes a new 3,000‑seat public assembly/sanctuary complex and greenspace parking; a 2-level, 145,000-SF auditorium with state-of-the-art A/V and lighting features, a 200-person choir loft, a 75,700‑SF education center and admin offices, lounge areas, meeting rooms, a production/recording studio, and a bookstore/coffee bistro. A new 324,000‑SF parking area (600-spaces) includes access road, and storm water detention.
