PROJECT OVERVIEW
Horizon was commissioned to Design/Build a ground-up new computer lab on the Texas Southern University Campus. This multi-purpose classroom building is a 7,500-SF, $1.5 million, pre-engineered metal building which included an engaging learning environment with four computer labs, four multi-purpose classrooms, meeting areas, administrative office space and a workforce development training room. The scope also included site development.

The Learning Center was fast-tracked due to budget constraints, with a drop-dead completion date. Project was completed in nine months, from inception of design to certificate of occupancy. Horizon's coordination and resource management efforts saved the owner $65,000 in savings.
