Horizon, like many innovative companies, began in a modest garage apartment.
In 1995, Principals Sadie Rucker and Al Kashani, took years of industry work,
coupled with five generations of development and construction experience;
and established Horizon International Group. ​

SADIE RUCKER

Sadie Rucker, is the President of Horizon International Group, LLC. She is a native Houstonian — rooted in her support for the betterment of her hometown. As President, Sadie provides support to Horizon’s owner’s representative team of professionals and ensures all internal resources are directed to support them.
Sadie has over twenty-five years of experience as a project principal and as a project executive at Horizon.

Sadie is a graduate of Texas Southern University and holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Technology from the University of Houston.

Sadie is the 2021 Past-President of the Women Contractors Association Houston Chapter.
AL KASHANI
Vice President
Registered Interior Designer #8934
Al Kashani is Vice President of Horizon International Group, LLC, and is responsible for driving Horizon's growth, creating operational strategies, and is instrumental in the oversight of all construction management, and property development.

Al is a fourth generation developer, builder, and contractor. He handles existing client relations and acts as a liaison to promote continuing business and community outreach. He has over 35-years experience in real estate development, and asset management which have helped him initiate projects that have generated local and national recognition.
Al is a University of Houston, Cullen College of Engineering graduate. He is widely-known as an advocate in the community — creating MWBE / HUB opportunities and community engagement throughout the Greater Houston Area.
