Horizon was awarded the new construction of a 2-story community center which features multi-purpose rooms, a community stage and a state-of-the-art media room. It includes 2-community activity rooms, a dining room with full-size kitchen and serveries, a lounge and day rooms; as well as office suites, meeting, and conference rooms, multiple classrooms and storage areas, and an outdoor patio with pergola. The new Center which is adjacent to an existing shelter also features a childcare area with multiple age group rooms, play areas, family feeding rooms, and will serve at-risk youth and double as a disaster response shelter. The center has a senior living section which features expansive recreational areas, community clinics, meeting rooms, and presentation areas.
